Group Classes: Fun and Effective Training for You and Your Dog

Whether you're looking for a well-mannered companion for your home or a skilled partner for your adventures, our group classes deliver results that are both effective and enjoyable for both you and your dog. We never use choke chains, prong, or shock collars, and we maintain a maximum class size of six dogs to ensure individualized attention and optimal learning. All classes include lifetime telephone and email follow-up support.

• Puppy Kindergarten: Our four-week course designed for puppies between 8-18 weeks of age at the start date, focusing on socialization, basic manners, and foundational skills.
• Family Dog 1: Ideal for dogs approximately 18 weeks and up, this course builds upon the skills learned in Puppy Kindergarten and introduces more advanced behaviors and problem-solving.
• Family Dog 2: Taking training to the next level, this course prepares your dog to respond appropriately in any situation, providing you with a well-rounded, reliable companion.
• Games Class: The most fun you can have in a dog training class! This course focuses on play, strengthening the bond between you and your dog while teaching important skills in a positive and engaging way.
• Tricks Class: Show off your dog's talents and keep their brain busy with this enjoyable course designed to teach an array of tricks that will impress friends and family.
• Topics Classes: Four-week mini-courses aimed at rapidly improving a single skill, such as loose leash walking, stay, or come.

Behavior Consultations: Understanding and Improving Your Dog's Behavior

Our behavior consultations are designed to help you better understand and enhance your dog's behavior. We strongly recommend reading the American Veterinary Society for Animal Behavior position statements on "dominance theory" and punishment-based training before hiring any behavior consultant to work with your dog.

• Behavior Consultations: For dogs exhibiting aggression toward humans or suffering from fears, phobias, or anxiety-related issues.
• Reactive Dog Consultation: Specifically tailored for dogs that bark and lunge at other dogs.
• Resource Guarding Consultation: Addressing aggressive behavior related to toys, food, or items.

Private Training: Customized Programs for Individual Attention and Flexible Scheduling

For those who prefer one-on-one attention or more flexible scheduling, our custom-designed private training programs offer the perfect solution. These sessions cater to your unique needs and training goals while providing a dedicated learning experience for you and your dog.

• New Puppy Consultations: Ideal for first-time puppy owners or those who haven't had a puppy in a long time, our 90-minute private consultations address all of your specific questions and concerns.
• Private Training Programs: Flexible series of private lessons, starting with our 90-minute Initial Training Session, designed to focus on specific training skills or behaviors. Lessons are held weekly or bi-weekly.
• Behavior Consultation Follow-up Sessions: Additional training or behavior modification sessions for those who have already had a consultation with us.
