Our Story

Hello! I'm Darren Burleson, the owner of The Pawfessionals Dog Walkers & Pet Sitters. My passion for providing loving and reliable care for pets stems from a personal experience. Several years ago, while away on vacation, I entrusted my beloved Jack Russell Terriers to a seemingly reputable kennel. Despite their good standing, I couldn't shake a feeling of unease leaving them in a sterile environment filled with barking and unfamiliar dogs. Upon my return, my furry companions were distressed - dirty, flea-ridden, hoarse from barking, and visibly shaken. Witnessing their state motivated me to create a better alternative - a service dedicated to keeping pets comfortable and happy in their own homes.
