Our Training Programs

At The Loyal Hound, we tailor our methods to suit each dog individually based on breed, temperament, and overall demeanor. We offer a variety of training programs that cater to your dog's unique needs, from basic obedience training to behavior modification programs for dogs who exhibit more serious unwanted behaviors.

*Board and Train Program*

Our Board and Train Program is a two or three-week immersive training experience that builds massive amounts of confidence in your dog. It helps your dog develop social skills and coping tools for interacting with (or just tolerating) dogs and humans. Our program patterns new foundation behaviors while working toward creating a more stable emotional baseline.

During their stay, your dog will receive private customized training sessions, group training sessions, daily structured walks, controlled socialization opportunities with balanced dogs, and supervised playtime between intensive training. Our methods build confidence by teaching your dog to defer to you when they are uncomfortable, create space when they need it, and reliably make better choices in all kinds of situations, with minimal stress and confusion.

Our Board and Train Program includes two options:

*2-Week Program: $2500 - Ideal for friendly dogs who just need on-leash obedience training.*

*3-Week Program: $4000 - Behavior modification program for dogs who exhibit more serious unwanted behaviors or for advanced off-leash obedience.*

*Add-On Unlimited Class Membership: $1000 - Includes unlimited classes for one year after the program.*

*Behavior and Skills*

During their stay, your dog will learn a variety of commands, behaviors, and skills that will improve their quality of life.

2-week program your dog will learn:

• Heel (loose-leash walking) in high distraction settings
• Sit
• Down
• Waiting for food
• Thresholds
• A "drop" or "out" command

3-week program your dog will be able to follow commands, without treats, in HIGH LEVELS OF DISTRACTION. We will also address any on-leash issues such as pulling, jumping, and excessive barking. We will modify behavior accordingly if your dog is exhibiting aggression. In each customized program, your dog will learn the commands that we feel will give them the greatest quality of life.
