Welcome to Bittersweet Kennel, the oldest family-owned pet kennel in the Seacoast area and the largest in the state of New Hampshire. Established in 1972, we pride ourselves on providing a warm and welcoming environment for your pets. Our facility is situated on 10 beautiful acres in the heart of Rockingham County, offering an intimate setting despite our large size. Our team has been together for over a decade, comprising experienced kennel technicians, front desk personnel, and pet groomers.

Our kennel is designed with your pet's safety and security in mind. We feature an all-indoor facility, ensuring your pet's health and happiness regardless of the weather. During the winter, radiant heating keeps pets warm, and we have several large exhaust fans to maintain a continuous airflow. In the summer, large fans help keep your pets cool, and large windows line the building to provide natural light. Outdoor playtime in large, fenced areas ensures pets get the exercise they need.

At Bittersweet Kennel, we offer a range of services including boarding and daycare for your pets. Our daycare services are low-cost and can be pre-scheduled or you can walk-in. We also provide grooming services six days a week, with appointments recommended but same-day service available for some pets. Whether you need a quick grooming session or an extended stay for your pet, we're here to help.
