Meet Our Team

Kay, our lead trainer, holds a degree in psychology from the University of Washington, with a focus on animal behavior. She's a certified trainer through the Karen Pryor Academy and has extensive experience working with animals.

Poppy, our secondary trainer, graduated from the Karen Pryor Academy and IAABC's Cat Behavior Consultant Mentorship Program. With a background in early childhood development, Poppy has a unique understanding of learning theory and its application to all species.

Q: What is your experience and education?

A: Kay studied animal behavior psychology at the University of Washington and earned a degree from Pt Defiance Zoo & Aquarium. Poppy holds an education in early childhood development and has completed the Karen Pryor Academy and IAABC's Cat Behavior Consultant Mentorship Program.
