Our Services

At Mucky Pup Cat & Dog Grooming, we offer a range of services tailored to meet the unique needs of your feline companion. Our services include:

• Cat Grooming: Our comprehensive grooming package includes nail trimming, gentle ear and eye cleaning, combing out to remove excess coat and minor tangles, massaging warm water bath, and blow dry/blow out to remove dead shedding hair.
• Lion Cut: This service involves a close trim, leaving a mane of hair, while maintaining a stylish and sleek appearance.
• Comb Cut/Teddy Bear Cut: This trim leaves your cat with a cute and cuddly teddy bear-like appearance, while maintaining a moderate length of hair.
• Deshed: Our deshedding service gently removes excessive coat and hair, reducing shedding up to 80% if done regularly.
• Just a Sanitary Trim: This add-on service involves a close shave around the genital area and up to the belly button.

Additional Services

We also offer additional services to enhance your cat's grooming experience, including:

• Soft Paw Application: A durable and odorless nail coating applied with a nail trim included.
• Just a Nail Trim: A standalone nail trimming service.

Mat Removal and Matting Fees

At Mucky Pup Cat & Dog Grooming, we understand that matting can occur due to various factors. We take a gentle and patient approach to remove mats and tangles, taking into consideration your cat's comfort and safety at all times. Mat removal fees start at $150 and vary based on the severity of matting and the required services.

Fees and Pricing

Our fees and pricing are as follows:

• Wash and Fluff: $100 for short-haired cats and $125 for long-haired cats.
• Lion Cut: $175.
• Comb Cut/Teddy Bear Cut: $175.
• Deshed: $150 and up for long-haired cats and $100 and up for short-haired cats.
• Just a Sanitary Trim: $20.
• Soft Paw Application: $50.
• Just a Nail Trim: $25.

Tangling, Matting, and Matted Cats

We understand that matting and tangling can occur. Our prices quoted above assume minimal to no matting or tangling. However, if your cat is matted or tangled, we will quote additional fees during check-in based on the time required to safely remove them.

Regular Grooming and Maintenance

Regular grooming and maintenance are essential to prevent matting, hairballs, excessive shedding, toenail growth, bacterial growth on skin, dandruff, and litter box debris and ear and eye issues. We recommend regular grooming every 4-8 weeks (depending on the cat's needs) to maintain a healthy and happy feline companion.

Important Notes

• A current rabies vaccine is required before scheduling appointments.
• Private appointments are available for cats that might be more fearful of dogs.
• Grooming can be stressful for some cats; therefore, we only groom kitties that are tolerant to the grooming process. If your cat is extremely fearful or aggressive or has never been groomed, we may refer you to a veterinarian where there are more people to help handle your pet for safe grooming.
