Copeland's Pet Motel & Grooming, Inc. is a family-owned and operated business that has been providing exceptional care for pets since 1945. Founded by Dorothy and Rufus Copeland, the business is now run by the mother-daughter duo, Kathy Copeland and Dorrie Copeland Waters, along with the help of Dorrie's children, Kenley and Kolden. With the help of some dedicated staff members who have been with the company for over 20 years, Copeland's Pet Motel & Grooming, Inc. has established itself as one of the oldest and finest boarding businesses in the Southern United States.
Facility and Services
Copeland's Pet Motel & Grooming, Inc. is situated on roughly 3.5 well-groomed acres and over 55,000 square feet of boarding kennels. Each kennel has its own outdoor run & play area, providing pets with ample space to run and play. The Luxury Suites feature day beds, decorative wallpaper, bed linens, and flat-screen TVs to keep pets entertained when they aren't napping or running around in the play yard.
The business offers a variety of accommodations for pets of all kinds, including Indoor/Outdoor Kennel areas and quiet Luxury Suite options. The pet salon provides professional dog grooming with relaxing bath treatments and nail grinds. Additionally, the business offers Day Camp services, allowing pet owners to go to work guilt-free by keeping their pets with them for just the day. Cats can stay in a separate building all to themselves, where they can have a tranquil experience in a personal Cat Condo featuring climbing pads and soft music.
Boarding Services
Copeland's Pet Motel & Grooming, Inc. offers three main areas for overnight boarding: Indoor/Outdoor kennels, Luxury Suites, and Ultimate Suites. Each area is climate-controlled with air conditioning and includes bedding. All pets are provided with multiple walk'n'play times with a Copeland's employee(s).
Copeland's offers professional grooming, bathing, flea treatments, and massage therapy for all canines. Guests must be up to date on all required vaccines, and appointments are required for grooming services.
Superior Suites
Copeland's Superior Suite Kennels feature indoor ceramic-tiled floor units, each with a private adjoining outdoor run. The buildings are completely climate-controlled, and pets are free to come in and out of their personal run throughout the day (weather permitting). In addition to personal outdoor run access, every pet enjoys three Walk n' Play times per day with a pet care specialist in the Astro-Turf'ed agility course play yard.
Ultimate Suites
The Ultimate Suites offer the highest form of relaxed luxury for your pet. The quiet and spacious rooms include sliding door access to a personal courtyard, along with premium beds (with custom bedding) and a flat-screen TV in a serene, chalet-styled, climate-controlled building. Each pet receives four outdoor Walk n' Play times with an employee to potty and exercise. Enjoy online access to a live WebCam where you can watch your baby play, eat, and unwind. Ultimate Suite guests must be pre-approved prior to boarding in this area.
Elite Suites
The Elite Suites are styled as a mini hotel room and are best suited for pets used to staying only indoors or in apartment-style living. Each room is fully furnished, including bedding and a flat-screen TV. Every baby receives three outdoor play times per day with a Copeland's caregiver in the fenced-in Astro-Turf play yard.
Luxury Suites
Luxury Suites are the most popular choice for highly pampered pets. Similar to our Elite Suites, each room includes furniture such as comfortable bedding and a flat-screen TV.
