At Gentle Hearts Pet Sitting, we are a small, LOCAL company that is dedicated to providing affordable and professional AT HOME pet care and PRIVATE daily dog walks to the Denver area. Since our inception in 2008, we have been privileged to take care of all of your pet sitting and dog walking needs, whenever they may arise. Our philosophy has been simple: we take pride in and love what we do!

Our Story

Our journey began when Luke Grapski and Carol, co-owners of Gentle Hearts Pet Sitting, decided to leave their corporate careers behind and pursue their passion for animals. Luke, a Northern Illinois University graduate, and Carol, a DePaul University graduate, met in high school and have been best friends ever since. They started Gentle Hearts in October 2008, merging their shared love for animals and the great outdoors.

Meet the Team

At Gentle Hearts, we have a diverse team of pet sitters who are passionate about providing top-notch care to your furry friends. Emma, one of our pet sitters, is a Master's degree candidate in Social Work at the University of Denver. Maureen, another member of our team, is a self-proclaimed 'cat lady' who loves-taking care of dogs and other furry friends. Haley, a full-time child protection caseworker and part-time pet sitter, is a Wisconsinite who moved to Colorado seven years ago.

Gerson, our resident dog trainer and walker, originally from Los Angeles, has a background in the army and rock band Chicago. Julia, our dog walker and overnight sitter, is an avid animal lover who has worked at an animal rescue shelter. Steve, our other dog walker, is a native of Colorado who has taken care of dogs and cats all his life.
