Colorado Greyhound Adoption (CGA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to finding permanent loving homes for retired racing greyhounds. As a 100% volunteer-driven organization, our mission is to promote the adoption and welfare of these magnificent animals as excellent family pets. Located in the metropolitan Denver area, our group maintains a racing neutral stance and is committed to finding suitable homes for these incredible dogs.

Our Services

At CGA, we offer a range of services to support the adoption process. Our experienced team works closely with adopters to ensure a smooth transition for both the dog and the new family. Our services include:

• Adoption Process: Our adoption process ensures that each dog is matched with the perfect adopter. We take the time to understand the needs of both the dog and the adopter to ensure a happy and healthy relationship.
• Fostering: Our fostering program provides a safe and loving environment for dogs in need. Our foster homes provide a temporary residence for dogs until a permanent home is found.
• Events: We host various events throughout the year, including meet and greet sessions, adoption fairs, and fundraising events. These events provide an opportunity for the public to interact with our adopted dogs and learn more about our organization.
• Donate and Volunteer: We rely on donations and volunteers to continue our mission. Whether it's donating food, supplies, or time, every contribution helps us to make a difference in the lives of these incredible dogs.

About The Dogs

Our dogs are rescued from various sources, including racing tracks, farms, and shelters. While some of our dogs are retired racing greyhounds, others are lurchers, a mix of greyhound and other breeds. All of our dogs are loving, friendly, and deserving of a forever home.
