At Kindred Spirit, our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for small dogs, seniors, and those who need special care. Our family-owned business has been serving the Bend community for over 15 years, and we pride ourselves on our personalized approach to pet care.

Our Services

We offer cage-free boarding and daycare services on our 3-acre property, where your furry friends can roam freely and enjoy the great outdoors. Our daily routine includes a 2-mile trail hike for active dogs, while our seniors enjoy a leisurely neighborhood stroll. We also provide a choice of sleeping arrangements, whether it's a couch, dog bed, or crate, to ensure your pet's comfort.

Our staff is dedicated to understanding the individual needs of each pet, and we work closely with you to ensure a smooth transition for your beloved companion. We believe in providing a low-tech and hands-on approach, with at least one staff member on site at all times to supervise and provide love and attention to our furry guests.

About Our Staff

Owner Martina Muller has a 15-year background in pet care, including studies in Canine Psychology and First Aid. She is bonded and insured, and her passion is providing a safe and compassionate environment for all pets. Our staff is carefully selected and trained to ensure the highest level of care for your pet.

Our goal is to provide a relaxing and enjoyable experience for your pet, without the stress of kenneling or in-home sitting.

Policies and Rates

We have a range of pricing options to suit your needs, from overnight stays to daycare only. We offer discounts for cash payments and package deals for regular customers. Please note that we do not accept unneutered males over 8 months old or dogs over 70 pounds. We also require a minimum of 2 overnight stays for out-of-town reservations.

We only accept dogs that we know well and are fully vaccinated, clean and disinfect frequently, provide nature-based activities, and monitor for any signs of illness.
