Our Story
Freedom Dog, Cat, and Small Bird Care was first founded in 1975. We are a family-run small pet care business located on 5 acres of Fir and Oak trees. Here at Freedom, we have a small farm with chickens, guinea hens, ducks, miniature horses, and goats. We have been showing dogs for over 30 years and currently show Dobermans in confirmation, obedience, and agility. Our day at Freedom begins very early with Yogi the Cockatoo heralding in the morning at around 6 am. The care of our boarding guests is our primary goal, and it does not end until all our guests are happily tucked in for the night around 10:30 pm. We do our best to make your pet's stay with us like a wonderful trip to the country, so that the next time they enter the gates here at Freedom, they will jump out of the car with joy!
Services Offered
We wish to take this opportunity to thank you for stopping and visiting us here at Freedom. We are committed to providing a variety of services to cater to your pet's needs, including:
- Pet Boarding: Your dog, cat, or small pet will be pampered here in his/her own room, that is heated in the winter and cooled in the summer. Your pet will enjoy romping in the individual, spacious play yards. In the summer, he/she can even take a dip in the pool. Dogs get out at least 5 times a day to run in the play yard.
- Pet Grooming: While at Freedom, you may choose to have your pet pampered in our spa with a bath or a complete grooming.
- Doggy Day Care: Treat your dog to a fun and active day and bring home a happy and pooped pooch!
Our Hours
All hours at Freedom are by appointment only. Monday - Tuesday: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm, Wednesday: 8:00 am - 10:00 am, Thursday - Friday: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm, Saturday: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm, Sunday: closed. Check out time is 12:00 pm. After 12:00 pm, you will be charged for a full day.
