At Teacher's Pet Training Academy, we believe that training should be a fun, low-stress experience for all involved (humans and pets). Our expert team of certified trainers use positive, science-based methods to help you and your pet achieve your goals. With years of experience and a passion for animal behavior, our trainers are dedicated to providing you with the tools and support you need to build a strong, pawsitive relationship with your pet.

Our Philosophy

We believe that every pet is unique and deserves a personalized approach to training. Our trainers take the time to get to know you and your pet, learning what motivates and excites them. By using these motivators, we encourage good behavior and reward good behavior. We believe that every pet deserves to be trained using humane, up-to-date methods that are safe and effective.

Meet Our Team

Our team of trainers is comprised of certified professionals who are dedicated to their craft. Each trainer has completed rigorous training programs and continues to stay up-to-date on the latest research and techniques. Our trainers are certified by the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT) and hold credentials such as CPDT-KA and CBCC-KA.

Services

We offer a range of services to meet your needs, including:

• Group Classes: Join one of our small, individualized classes capped at 6 canine participants. Our classes are designed to be fun and engaging, with a focus on positive training methods.
• Private Training: Work one-on-one with one of our certified trainers to address specific issues or goals.
• In-Home Training: Let us come to you! Our trainers will work with you and your pet in the comfort of your own home.
• Homeschooling: Learn about dog behavior and how to train your pet using positive, humane methods.
• Off On The Right Paw: Take your training to the next level with our advanced training classes.
• Smart Walks: Teach your pet to walk nicely on a leash with our smart walks classes.
• After School Activities: Join one of our after-school activities to expand your pet's knowledge and learn new behaviors.

What Do Those Letters Mean?

While much of the training industry is unregulated, we are proud to be members of the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT), the leading independent certifying organization for the dog training profession. The CCPDT is at the forefront in the development of rigorous exams to demonstrate proficiency of humane, science-based dog training practices while maintaining that all certificants further their knowledge through continuing education requirements.
