Our Story
Our story began when Susan and Jerry Gallant, long-time business owners of Plymouth Farm & Garden on Summer Street in Plymouth, decided to expand their business to include a dog daycare and grooming facility. They built Happy Hound Doggie Day Care & Grooming on the same property and have been running it for the past 10 years. The Garden Center is now leased out to Crystal Lake Garden Shop.
Dog Day Care
Our dog daycare facility is surrounded by beautiful woodlands, providing a large outdoor area for your pet to run, play, and get plenty of exercise with their new furry friends. Our indoor area is equipped with heat and central air, ensuring your pet's comfort regardless of the weather. We offer a small group environment where your pet will receive plenty of individualized attention. Located just off the highway at exit 6 in Plymouth, it's an easy drop-off from any direction.
Dog Grooming
Our skilled groomer, Kerri Thurstone, has 11 years of grooming experience. We reserve the right to charge additional fees for services we consider over and above the norm covered by our standard rates. We also reserve the right to refuse service to customers whose dog may pose a threat to us or to the pets left in our care, whether it be an aggression, health, or parasite problem. Thank you for your understanding.
Services Offered
We offer a variety of services to cater to your pet's needs, including:
- Full Spa: Nails, Brush out, Ear cleaning, Haircut if necessary
- Add-ons: Nail Grind, Teeth Brushing
- Proof of rabies vaccine required for first-time customers
- A $40 charge will be incurred for appointments not canceled with at least 24 hours notice
