At Greengate Kennel, we are a family-owned business dedicated to providing a warm, welcoming environment for pets. With over 30 years of experience in boarding and caring for pets, we have earned a reputation for being one of the most trusted and reliable pet care facilities in Duxbury, MA. Our resident owners, Debbie Mason, along with her family and caring staff, are committed to offering personalized care to each pet that visits us.

Our journey began with a passion for breeding world-renowned Golden Retrievers and English Cockers. Debbie Mason, our resident owner, has been around animals all her life and has been breeding, training, and showing these breeds since 1969. She has been a member of the Golden Retriever Club of America, Yankee Golden Retriever Club, English Cocker Spaniel Club of America, and many other prestigious dog clubs. Debbie's dedication and love for dogs are unmatched, and she has been a judge for sporting dogs at AKC events, taught show handling classes for over 20 years, and has even traveled to dog shows around the world.

Our love for animals led us to start the boarding business at Greengate Kennel, aiming to provide the kind of personal, loving care we would want for our own pets. Over the years, we have built a strong reputation for our exceptional pet care services and have been a member of the American Boarding Association for over 30 years.

Boarding & Services

At Greengate Kennel, we offer a variety of services tailored to meet the needs of each pet. Our kennel is heated and air-conditioned, ensuring your pet's comfort regardless of the weather. We understand that pets are part of the family, so we welcome you to bring your pet's beds, blankets, and toys to make them feel more at home.

We offer boarding services for both dogs and cats. For dogs, we have individual indoor and outdoor runs available. Our rates vary based on the size of your dog: dogs under 30 lbs are $20 per day, dogs over 30 lbs are $25 per day, and dogs over 100 lbs are $27 per day. For cats, we offer a Cat Condo with two levels in a 2' 5" x 2' 5" area for $18 per day or a Cat Cage for $16 per day.

We also offer additional services such as feeding your pet their own food for a $1 per day fee, administering medication for a $1 per administration fee, bathing services starting at $45 for small dogs, and nail trimming for $15.

Our Nature Walk and Large Play Yard Area options are popular among pet owners. Our caring staff members will take your dog for a 15-minute walk around our beautiful grounds for $12 or supervise them in our large enclosed play area for $12. These services are scheduled daily upon request.
