Our Story
Caroline Lavigne, our founder, has a background in veterinary medicine and has worked in numerous clinics, hospitals, and animal rescues throughout Canada and the United States. She started WNC Pet Care as a way to share her knowledge and share a passion for healing and caring for animals. With over 14 years of experience in the veterinary industry, Caroline's vast knowledge and understanding of animal behavior has enabled us to provide exceptional care for your pets.

With a degree in Biology and years of experience as a veterinary technician and manager, Caroline founded WNC Pet Care with the goal of providing premium pet sitting and dog walking services. Amanda Burk, Business Manager & Professional Pet Sitter
With a degree in Individual Studies and minor in Marketing, Amanda brings a marketing and business background to the team. With experience in massage therapy, coaching, and a passion for animals, Amanda is dedicated to helping pet owners care for their furry friends.

Born in Idaho and raised in Raleigh, Max has a degree in Emergency Medical Care but decided to pursue a career in pet sitting. With a passion for animals and a love for the outdoors, Max enjoys getting to know new pets and going on adventures.
