We offer a range of services, from pet sitting and dog walking to medical care, all provided by a professional animal nurse.

Meet the Owner

Sylvia De La Parra, the owner of OC Pet Nurse, has always had a passion for animals. She has over 20 years of veterinary experience and is a registered veterinary technician in California and nationally. Sylvia has always been committed to providing the best possible care for animals and has dedicated her career to ensuring their health and well-being. She has a Bachelor's degree in Biology from UCSD and an Associate's degree in Animal Health from Mesa College in San Diego. Sylvia is also certified in pet first aid and CPR.

Medical Care

As a registered veterinary technician, Sylvia has the professional experience to administer medication, subcutaneous fluids, insulin injections, and provide physical therapy that is prescribed by your veterinarian. We understand that medical care can be a stressful time for both pets and their owners, and we are here to provide compassionate care for your pet during this time. We will work closely with your veterinarian to ensure that your pet receives the best possible care.

Pet Sitting

At OC Pet Nurse, we understand that pets are part of the family, and leaving them behind can be stressful. That's why we offer pet sitting services to ensure that your pets are well taken care of while you're away. We provide in-home pet care and house sitting services, so your pets can stay in the comfort of their own home. We will provide daily care, including feeding, medication administration, and exercise. We will also provide regular updates on your pets' well-being, so you can have peace of mind while you're away.

Dog Walking

Exercise is essential for dogs, and regular walks can help keep them healthy and happy. At OC Pet Nurse, we offer professional dog walking services to ensure that your dog gets the exercise they need. We have been providing dog walking services since 2007 and have perfected our techniques to ensure that your dog receives the encouragement and attentiveness they need. We will work with you to create a walking schedule that fits your dog's needs and your schedule.

Rates

At OC Pet Nurse, we believe that high-quality pet care should be affordable. That's why we offer competitive rates for our services. Our rates for dog walking are $30 for 30 minutes and $50 for 1 hour. Our medical care services are $10 additional fee to administer medications (per day). Our in-home pet care and house sitting services are $200 (24 Hours). Overnight visits are $100 for 12 hours at your home. Cat visits (your home) are $30 for 30 minute visit and $45 for 60 minute visit. Pet taxi pick up and drop off services are $35 each way (within 8 mile of 92620).
