Meet Our Owner

Kathy Plant, the owner and operator of Kathy's Klippery, has over 30 years of experience serving the KC area. Growing up in the northland, she has developed lifelong relationships with her clients, who have become like family. Starting at a young age with a little red wagon full of brushes to care for her neighbors' pets, she was destined to work in the animal field.

As a true pet lover herself, Kathy shares her compassion and holistic knowledge in her business, as well as her organic farm. She is a board member of NAWS (Northland Animal Welfare Society), working to build a no-kill shelter in the northland that is desperately needed.

Our Grooming Process

From the moment we arrive at your doorstep, we are dedicated to the special needs of you and your pet. Our holistic mobile pet styling service begins with a thorough massage to check for any suspicious bumps, parasites, or medical conditions. This is followed by a warm, organic shampoo bath and a brief wrap.

Once dry, we begin the gentle brushing, nail trimming, and buffing process. This is prelude to the styling procedure of your choice. We can also add a touch of elegance with bows and/or cologne if desired.
