Our Services

Rice Pet Clinic and Hospital is a full-service animal hospital and welcomes both emergency treatment cases as well as pet patients in need of routine medical, surgical, and dental care. Our Veterinarians have decades of experience treating serious conditions and offering regular pet wellness care. We offer a range of services, including wellness programs, dental care, surgery, radiology, microchipping, and nutrition.

Our History

The Rice Pet Clinic has been providing the highest quality pet care to the North Suburban communities of Little Canada, Maplewood, Roseville, Vadnais Heights, Shoreview, and St. Paul since 1963. In 1991, Dr. Timothy W. Krienke purchased the practice from his Uncle George Krienke, the founder, and continued the veterinary tradition of providing personalized, comprehensive pet care. In 2018, Dr. Jason Nordaune and Dr. Madison Nordaune purchased the practice from Dr. Timothy W. Krienke. The team continues to carry on the proud tradition of providing highly-trusted pet care to their patients, many of their owners are now third generation clients to the practice.
