Nancy Lampert, our founder, has a lifelong passion for animals. With a background in business and a love for dogs, she founded Baxter's K9 Complex to provide a unique and comprehensive experience for dogs and their owners. Nancy's vision is to create a place where dogs can thrive and owners can feel confident in the care of their pets.
About Our Champion, Baxter
Baxter is a Belgian Malinois who has won numerous titles, including Rookie of the Year, Iron Dog, and National and World Big Air Championships with Dock Dogs. He has also set multiple world records with Dock Dogs and Super Retrievers. Baxter's training has given him a great sense of confidence, challenges him mentally and physically, and keeps him motivated for more.

Overall Experience
The reviews of Baxter's Dog Daycare and Training Center are mixed, with some reviewers having a positive experience while others have had negative experiences. The common theme among the positive reviews is that the staff, particularly trainers Hailee and Cheyenne, are knowledgeable, skilled, and enthusiastic about helping dogs. The negative reviews, on the other hand, cite issues with temperament tests, rude staff, and poor handling of dogs.
Positive Reviews
Several reviewers praised the trainers at Baxter's for their expertise and patience. For example, Megan D. mentioned that trainer Hailee and Cheyenne were able to help her high-energy dog, Malia, become calmer and more manageable. Similarly, Lucio Simoni praised the trainers for doing a great job with his high-energy chocolate lab. Erin Myers also had a positive experience, noting that the facility was clean and well-run, and that her golden retriever was happy and tired after his day at daycare.
Negative Reviews
On the other hand, some reviewers had negative experiences at Baxter's. Jeffrey Pircher was unhappy with the temperament test his golden retriever failed, and was further upset when the trainer was rude to his pregnant wife. Leanne Trn was disappointed when she was not informed of a change in the daycare schedule and was not allowed to socialize her dogs with other dogs as planned. Ruth Roper's rescue pup was initially overwhelmed by the daycare environment, and Hallie Hill's puppy failed a temperament test and was later diagnosed with kennel cough after attending a free play day and nail trim at the facility.
