At The Calm K9, we are dedicated to providing expert dog training services that cater to the unique needs of each dog and their owner. Our mission is to create a harmonious relationship between humans and their furry friends by offering personalized training programs that address behavioral issues and promote positive reinforcement.

Our team is led by Curtis Craig, a renowned dog trainer with over 30 years of experience living with packs of nearly 30 dogs. Curtis's approach to dog training is informed by his deep understanding of both human and canine psychology. He knows how to communicate with dogs in a way that they understand, while also helping owners build stronger relationships with their pets.

Services Offered

We offer a variety of training programs designed to meet the specific needs of our clients. Our services include:

1. Board & Train Program: This comprehensive program teaches dogs to behave all the time by providing structured exercise, free time, socializing with other dogs, and long-duration calming exercises. Our trainers work closely with your dog to address any behavior issues and tailor the program to meet your dog's unique needs and personality.

2. Puppy Training & Socialization: Our puppy training program puts your puppy on the fast track to becoming a balanced and well-mannered dog. During our board & train obedience program, we will work on potty training, crate training, basic obedience, leash walking, greeting behavior, and more!

3. Pack Training Program: We believe that dogs learn best by observing and interacting with other dogs, which is why we introduce them to a group of relaxed, well-behaved, and working canines during their training. Unlike other dog trainers, we have a large pack of our own dogs, made up of 14 canines of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments.

4. Off-Leash Dog Training: This program teaches your dog to respond to commands and behave without the use of a leash. Our trainers use positive reinforcement techniques and build trust between you and your dog.

5. Aggressive Dog Training: If your dog is displaying aggressive behavior, we can help. Our trainers will work with you and your dog to identify the causes of aggression and develop a training plan that addresses these issues.

6. German Shepherd Training: As one of the most popular breeds in the world, German Shepherds require specialized training. Our trainers have extensive experience working with German Shepherds and can help you develop a well-behaved and obedient companion.
