Established in 2003 by owner, founder, and training director Elizabeth Chaney, our resort has been dedicated to fulfilling the individual needs of each pet. We take immense pride in providing comfortable overnight lodging, luxurious spa and wellness services, world-class dog training, and additional amenities to complete your pet's stay. Our mission is to create happiness for pets and their people.

Our Story

In 2003, Elizabeth Chaney founded Perfect Pet Resort, inspired by her lifelong passion for dogs. With a bachelor's degree from the University of Delaware and a deep understanding of dogs, she created a stress-free retreat dedicated to nurturing every pet. Today, we continue to honor this pet promise, offering a wide range of services that cater to your pet's physical, emotional, and mental well-being.

Hours of Operation

We are open from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 11 am and 3 pm to 6 pm, for lodging check-ins and check-outs. Daycare hours are from Monday to Friday, 7 am to 11 am for check-in, and 3 pm to 7 pm for check-out. Office hours are from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm, and Saturday from 8 am to 1 pm. We are closed on Sundays.

Our resort-like surroundings are designed to keep your pet comfortable, with caring staff available to interact and provide structured days filled with exercise and rest. We ensure your pet's health and happiness, offering lodging options for dogs and cats of all sizes and ages.

Our daycare services are designed to provide a safe and fun environment for your pet. We offer peace of mind by ensuring your pet is well taken care of, with plenty of exercise, socialization, and rest throughout the day. Our dedicated staff work tirelessly to meet your pet's unique needs.

Spa & Wellness Services

Pamper your pet with our luxurious spa and wellness services. Our professional team offers various spa services to keep your pet looking and feeling their best. These services include grooming, massage therapy, and aromatherapy, among others.

Training

At Perfect Pet Resort, we believe that a well-trained pet is a happy pet. We offer world-class dog training services, taught by our team of skilled trainers. Our training focuses on positive reinforcement techniques, ensuring that your pet learns in a safe, enjoyable environment. We also offer training classes and evaluations for all dogs, regardless of age or breed.
