Our Story

Pet Food Warehouse began its journey in 1983, founded by Jonathan Lash with a vision to provide the Burlington, Vermont area with a haven for pets and their devoted owners.

From humble beginnings, Pet Food Warehouse blossomed into a respected and beloved fixture in the community. Jonathan's passion for animals and commitment to quality products laid the foundation for the company's long-lasting success. In 1995, Jonathan's legacy was entrusted to his wife, Kim Lash, who stepped into the role of president.

Under Kim's dedicated leadership, Pet Food Warehouse continued to flourish. She expanded the business, strengthened its commitment to customer service, and deepened its involvement in supporting local animal welfare organizations. It was during Kim's tenure that the company earned its reputation as the premier pet food and supply store in the region, a title solidifying its status as the trusted go-to destination for pet parents seeking the best for their furry companions.

In 2019, after 31 years with the company, Kevin Eddy took the helm as president, carrying forward a legacy built on a genuine love for animals and a dedication to providing exceptional products and services. With a team of 48 dedicated employees and a thriving wholesale distribution division, Pet Food Warehouse continues to evolve while staying true to its core values.
