Our founder, Linda Donovan, has a unique background that sets her apart from the rest. With an undergraduate degree in Accounting from Newbury College and an MBA from Nichols College, Linda decided to leave the corporate world behind and dedicate her time to something she truly loves - animals. With a passion for animal welfare and a knack for business, Linda has built Donovan's Pet Sitting into a fully insured and bonded business that has earned the trust of countless pet owners in the South Shore MA area.

Linda's love for animals extends beyond her pet sitting business. She also lovingly fosters dogs through Safe With Us Animal Rescue and donates a portion of the proceeds yearly to support dog rescue organizations and no-kill shelters.

Our Services

At Donovan's Pet Sitting, we offer a wide range of services designed to cater to all types of pets, from the biggest to the smallest dogs and cats, to all types of birds, hamsters, fish, turtles, and more. Our services include:

• Vacation Pet Sitting: Going on vacation? We'll come to your house for you. No need to board your animal. Let them relax in the comforts of their own home and keep the same schedule (as much as possible).

• Cat Visits: Do you have a kitty at home? We'll visit them and make sure they're happy and healthy while you're away.

• Long Work-Day Pet Sitting: Working long hours? We'll come to your house and feed, exercise, and play with your animals.

• Short-term Pet Sitting: Need someone to watch your pet for a short period? We've got you covered.

• Long-Term Pet Sitting: Going on an extended vacation? We'll take care of your pet for as long as you need.

• Feeding: Animals on medications? No problem! We have experience administering medication to any kind of pet.

• Exercising: We'll make sure your pet gets the exercise they need while you're away.

• Pup Playgroups!: Are your animals home alone all day? Let us help. We will come to your house and feed, exercise, and play with your animals.

Benefits of Having a Pet Sitter

Before considering taking your pet with you on a trip, consider this: Animals can get very stressed out when they are removed from their surroundings. This can create negative health effects on your pet. By having us come in to your home, and not removing them from theirs, creates a stress-free vacation for you and your pet. Another added benefit while you are away is that since there is someone coming into your home a few times a day, and by having the dog stay home, this can deter potential burglaries from occurring.

Pricing

We offer competitive pricing for all of our services. Whether you need a one-time visit or an extended stay, we've got you covered.

• Playgroup: $30.00 for one dog, $15.00 each additional dog, $40.00 for longer day
• Walk: $20.00 for one dog, $5.00 an additional dog
• Pet Sitting Vacations: $20.00 per visit. Recommended: 3 times a day for dogs, 1 time a day for cats
