At River Road Animal Hospital, we are proud to have a team of experienced and dedicated veterinarians. Our owner, Dr. Ali Travis, is a graduate of North Carolina State's College of Veterinary Medicine and has a special interest in dermatology and pain management/geriatric medicine. She is also a Certified Veterinary Medical Acupuncturist. Dr. Calley Steelman, a native of Southport, is passionate about avian and exotic medicine, behavior, and surgery. Dr. Jennifer Derby, a graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, brings a wealth of knowledge in various fields.
