Our Story

CatSitter Meridian began its journey in 1994 with a simple yet profound goal: to provide premium care and genuine attention to all pets, treating each one with the respect and love they deserve. My profound love for animals sparked this endeavor, inspired by a deeply unsettling experience with a local pet boarding facility. Witnessing the neglect and gloom in the eyes of two golden retriever sisters, Gidget and Rosie, ignited a fire within me to offer a better alternative for pet owners. Determined to provide a safe and loving haven for animals, I founded PawsWatch Professional Pet Sitting LLC, becoming Meridian, Idaho's first professional pet sitting service.

A Focus on Feline Friends

Initially, PawsWatch embraced the care of all creatures great and small, from dogs and birds to rabbits and llamas. While I reveled in the company of a diverse range of animals, requests for cat sitting quickly surpassed my capacity to dedicate the necessary time and attention to each furry companion. Recognizing the unique needs of our feline friends, I made the difficult but ultimately rewarding decision to focus exclusively on cat care. Thus, PawsWatch evolved into CatSitter Meridian, a testament to our unwavering commitment to providing exceptional service to cats and their loving owners.
