Upscale Puppy

Hi my name is Kelly and I am the new owner of Upscale Puppy, but don't worry, the new name is Kelly's Upscale Puppy and very little is going to change. A little about me. I have always had a passion for dogs and have been involved in "all things dog" for the past 35 years as a certified groomer, working with local rescues as a case worker/foster mom, puppy raiser for Guide Dogs of America and looking after dogs for family and friends up to 6 months at a time. I attended a grooming school upon my graduating from college. In 1984 I was an intern at a very busy booming shop in Seattle. The owner showed and bred standard poodles and had a very good reputation for graduating well trained groomers. Once I got married, I moved to Canada and opened up a grooming/daycare/boarding salon in Nelson, BC. My husband, Bill is a retired police officer and EMT. He will be working with me as we expand the services we will be offering in the future. We both look forward to this exciting adventure and completing my mission statement. "I want you and your dog to feel that I am their extended family while you are away. My home is their home" You leave em - We love em!

We share our home with your fur-buddies This is our home and its your pampered dogs home too. My mission is to be their extended family while you are away. We don't use kennels or crates, unless upon request. Your dog will have free run of our home although they usually are hanging out with me in the office, kitchen or out in our interactive play yard. I have an abundance of dog beds, blankets and sweaters to ensure your baby is warm and comfortable while in my care. During the day, your baby will participate in our daycare and play with other small dogs. I will always keep an eye out for a sleepy dog and will find a quite place with a dog bed and blanket for them to rest.

Our Services

We offer a variety of services including in-home daycare, boarding for small dogs only, and all breed grooming. Our daycare hours are Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 6:00pm, and we are currently closed on Saturday and Sunday for daycare. Grooming hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 5:00pm.
