Meet the Owner

Hi there! I'm Jess, the proud owner of My Pet Friends. While I didn't initially start this business, my journey here was undoubtedly guided by my unwavering love for animals. Before My Pet Friends became my life's work, I served as a mail carrier, where my compassion for animals was evident as I frequently took in lost pets, pet sat for my customers and even rescued a baby cow during my route. It was clear to everyone who knew me that my true calling lay in working with animals. My transition to the pet sitting world began as a sitter and then as the office manager, and it quickly became apparent that this was where I belonged.

What sets me and my team apart is our genuine passion for what we do. For us, pet sitting is more than just a job - it's our heartfelt commitment to providing each pet with the same love and care we would give our own. I'am also pet CPR and first aid certified so that I can do my best to ensure your beloved pets are safe in my care. On the personal side, I share my home and passion with my husband and our two children, Olive, who's 2 years old, and Edison, who's 6. Together, we're raising our family alongside three dogs and three cats, two of which are proudly featured in our company logo. They're not just pets; they're cherished members of our family.

Services & Pricing

We understand that every pet is unique and has different needs. That's why we offer a variety of services to cater to your pet's individual requirements. Our services include:

• 20 Minute Visit: Perfect for a midday potty break during your work day or in between their morning and evening visits while you are away. Priced at $17.
• 30 Minute Visit: A little extra time for your furbaby to enjoy some lunch or a nice walk. Priced at $20.
• 45 Minute Visit: For the pet, who may need some extra playtime or a long walk with a meal. Priced at $25.
• 1 Hour Visit: Great for some extra playtime, a large number of pets in the home, a slow eater, or just because they deserve it! Priced at $30.
• Meet & Greet: We provide a free meet and greet to all of our clients. This gives us a chance to get to know you and your pet. It's very important to us that you are comfortable with who will be in your home and, most importantly, caring for your beloved pet.
• Overnight Stays: Our overnight stays are 12 hours in length. This is a great option for vacations, as we can feed them dinner upon arrival and breakfast before we leave. A midday drop-in on top of this visit is encouraged so that they have a quick potty break during the day. Priced at $68.
• 24/7 Visits: For those whose pets may need to be let out more than others throughout the day, or just for peace of mind to simply have someone at home while you are away. Priced at $135.
• Pet Errand: Need your pet picked up from the vet? Groomer? Realized you are low on food and need us to grab it? Low on their medication, and they close while you are at work? We can help with that! Pricing is dependent on the specific service needed.
