The Orange County Humane Society (OCHS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection of abused, unwanted, neglected, and under-appreciated animals. Our mission is to provide a safe and loving environment for cats and dogs in need of a second chance, and to work towards creating a society where every pet has a loving home.

Our Services

At OCHS, we offer a range of services to support the well-being of animals in Orange County. Our shelter provides a safe and nurturing environment for cats, dogs, and other small animals, where they receive the necessary care and attention until they find their forever homes. We also provide adoption services, pairing animals with loving families who can provide them with a stable and loving home.

In addition to our shelter services, we also offer a range of community programs and services, including:

• Lost and Found Pets: We work with law enforcement and local animal control agencies to reunite lost pets with their owners.
• Pet Adoption: We facilitate the adoption process, providing a safe and loving environment for pets until they find their forever homes.
• Spay/Neuter Services: We offer low-cost spay and neuter services to reduce pet overpopulation and improve the health and well-being of animals in Orange County.
• Behavioral Rehabilitation: We provide behavioral rehabilitation services to help animals overcome behavioral issues and become more adoptable.
• Pet Supply Drive: We host annual pet supply drives to collect essential items for animals in need.

Our Role in Orange County

As a leading animal welfare organization in Orange County, we play a vital role in promoting animal welfare, supporting animal adoption, and advocating for the protection and well-being of animals.
