Coppell Humane Society

At Coppell Humane Society, we are dedicated to rescuing dogs and cats primarily in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area. Our mission is to serve homeless, needy companion animals in the Dallas- Ft. Worth metroplex and surrounding communities. We accomplish this through rescue, rehabilitation, and permanent placement in suitable homes; while striving to reduce their numbers through public education.

Our Story started in 1989 with a team of two women who went to a local shelter, took a few dogs to a neighborhood store parking lot and tried to get them adopted. If they were not adopted, then the women took them back to the shelter. Since then, CHS has grown quite a bit and now has a network of foster homes and volunteers that rescue both cats and dogs.

Our Services

We are a foster home organization that is run by volunteer staff. We take in rescued animals and provide them with a safe and loving environment until they find their forever homes. Our foster homes are designed to provide individualized medical attention and/or training to each animal. We also provide support and guidance to our foster families to ensure the well-being of the animals in their care.

We believe that every animal deserves a chance at a happy and healthy life. That's why we work tirelessly to rescue animals that are at high risk of euthanasia due to rampant overcrowding and lack of resources. Our goal is to find each animal a forever home where they will be loved and cared for.

Our adoption process is designed to help you find the perfect furry companion for your family. Our knowledgeable adoption team will work with you to understand your lifestyle, preferences, and needs. We will also introduce you to animals that match your criteria, and our trainers will provide you with valuable insights and tips on how to care for your new pet.
