At Best Friend Nutrition, our story begins with love, dedication, and a promise to give the best to our furry friends. Our founders, Hope and Jim Williams, were inspired by their beloved rescue Golden Retriever, Maggie, who was given only three months to live by the vet. Defying the odds, Maggie lived an additional three years thanks to a custom diet using natural, healthy foods and supplements. This incredible outcome not only saved Maggie's life but also sparked a passion for helping others.
The Beginning
Experiencing firsthand the transformative power of a healthy lifestyle, Hope and Jim realized that they had uncovered a true calling. In 2003, they moved to Sequim and opened the first "health food store for pets" in Carlsborg. As the business grew, so did their commitment to providing the best in nutrition for pets. Fourteen years later, they decided to retire, but not before entrusting their beloved store to a new generation of passionate pet owners.
