My Pet Pals was founded in 2013 by Diane Stuercke, a pet sitter with 18 years of professional experience. Diane's passion for animal care started early, and she co-founded Bloomington Pet Pals Inc in southern Indiana in 2005. The business went on to be named national pet sitters of the year in 2008. In 2013, Diane returned to her home in northern Illinois to open a second pet sitting business, My Pet Pals. With My Pet Pals, Diane aims to provide personalized in-home pet care and dog walks for cats and dogs in Round Lake Beach, Grayslake, and Gurnee, Illinois. The business is built on the philosophy that great service is the best thing they can offer, tailoring their care to each pet's unique needs and personality.

Our Services

My Pet Pals offers a range of services including in-home pet care and dog walks. They provide exercise, play, love, and companionship for your pets while you're away. Each visit includes loving care for all your pets, fresh food and water, walks, inside or outside play and attention, clean up any pet messes, pet reports with attention to detail, scoop and clean litter boxes, water plants, take in mail, papers & packages, and alternate blinds/curtains/lights. For cats, they ensure fresh water and food, clean litter boxes, and provide love, play, and companionship. They also offer midday dog walks for those who can't get home at lunch or who may be late getting home. A well-exercised dog is less likely to become bored and destructive.
