At Obedient Paws, we believe that every dog is a part of the family and deserves the same love, guidance, and structure as any member of the family. Our mission is to provide top-notch private obedience training, boarding, and daycare services to help dogs become well-behaved and well-adjusted members of society.

Our Founding Story

Our founder, Adam, a native of Virginia Beach, has always been passionate about dogs. With a background in international relations and a strong interest in canine behavior, Adam decided to pursue a career in dog training. After completing an intensive 3-year dog training program with Fidos for Freedom, a non-profit organization that raises, trains, and places assistance dogs with clients, Adam went on to become a certified dog trainer, groomer, and veterinary assistant.

Our Services

At Obedient Paws, we offer a range of services designed to meet the unique needs of every dog. Our services include:

• Private Obedience Training: Our private obedience training program is tailored to meet the specific needs of each dog. Our experienced trainers work closely with dog owners to teach them how to communicate effectively with their dogs, using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage desired behaviors and discourage unwanted ones.
• Boot Camp: Our 2-week intensive training program, Boot Camp, is designed for dogs that require more structure and socialization. Our trainers work closely with dog owners to teach them how to reinforce desired behaviors and discourage unwanted ones.
• Boarding: Our state-of-the-art boarding facility is designed to provide a safe and comfortable environment for dogs. Our team of experienced trainers and handlers are dedicated to ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of every dog in our care.
• Daycare: Our daycare services are designed to provide dogs with socialization and exercise, helping to reduce stress and anxiety.

Our Facilities

Our facilities are designed to provide a safe and comfortable environment for dogs. Our outdoor training area features a 1/3-acre fenced-in area with a 7-foot wooden fence, and our indoor area is climate-controlled, with a CO2 and smoke detector, and commercial fans for ventilation.
