Our mission is simple: to make your cat's stay with us a happy experience. We believe that your cat deserves the same love and care they receive at home, and we strive to provide that through our enormous cages, daily playtime, and a dog-free environment. We also understand the importance of keeping your cat entertained and engaged, which is why we offer stimulating videos viewable from every cage and a large play area for them to explore.

The Enchanted Cat is licensed with the Illinois Department of Agriculture Bureau of Animal Health and Welfare, ensuring that your cat is in good hands. We're vigilant about maintaining cleanliness and disinfecting cages between visits, and we insist on updated shot records from your veterinarian as criteria to board with us. In the unlikely event that your cat becomes unwell during their stay, we'll promptly contact you, your vet, and your emergency contact, and use one of several top local vets in the Richmond area for any necessary care.

Our Services

We offer a variety of services designed to make your cat's stay with us as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. These include:

• Gigantic Cages: Our cages are much larger than those found at traditional kennels, providing your cat with ample space to move around and relax.
• Daily Playtime: Our staff and volunteer petters spend quality time with your cat every day, ensuring they receive the attention and exercise they need.
• Cat-TV Movies: We offer stimulating videos viewable from every cage, designed specifically for cat stimulation and entertainment.
• Special Medical Needs: We cater to cats with special medical needs, excluding those that require injectables. An additional charge may apply for certain services.
• Long-Term Boarding Discounts: We offer discounts for long-term stays of 30 days or longer.
