Our History
Our story begins with Alice and Edward Swiderski, who opened our doors in 1956. Alice was a renowned breeder and exhibitor of Parti-color Cocker Spaniels, while Edward was a entrepreneur who sold his gas station to focus on developing our boarding business. Over the years, we've been fortunate to have had multiple generations of the same family involved in the business, with Kathleen and Joel Smiler taking over in 1989 and Michael Smiler joining the family business in 2000.
